This time is divided into base time, walking time, picking time and dead time. The objective is to keep the picking time <strong>as efficient as possible<\/strong>. The base time includes the preparation and postprocessing time that is required for picking. The walking time is the time the <a href=\"https:\/\/lydia-voice.com\/gb\/lexicon-articles\/order-picker\/\"><strong>picker<\/strong><\/a> needs to get to the respective article and back again. Picking time is the time required for the actual picking process. <strong>Dead time is the time in which the picker is unproductive<\/strong>.
